This is a 2002 M5. I am the original owner. The car was purchased at Bert Smith BMW . It is carbon black metallic with black leather and alcantara headliner and silver trim. The car has over 260,000 miles . The car runs and drives well , but needs some repair and maintenance work. It has a major oil leak from the rear of the engine (rear main seal ) and cylinder two has been fouling the spark plug. Vanos makes noise. The valve covers are also leaking. The instrument display needs pixel repair Sunroof needs repair (plastic rail clips are broken -I have the parts)There is body damage to the right rear door and rear bumper Door seals (rubber) need to be replaced right seat back needs cable repair (twists)M5 door plates needs replacementThe car has new front and rear brake discs, pads, and calipers ( big brembos removed and replaced with original brake components)I will also provide a set of AC Schnitzer type II wheels and adapters (need repair and refinishing)Needs tires as well. Rare estoril blue on black 2001 M Roadster for sale. He was serious enough about this job that he bought a lift, specifically for low-profile cars, to do it.(2/15/18) Previous potential buyer paid to have the vehicle inspected by BMW of Portland (Rassmusen BMW). The car passed passed in all categories (other than the sub-frame). A copy can be provided upon request. The previous buyer spent $300 on the inspection, then had an emergency overseas and gave me permission to move on. If I do hear from that buyer again, I'll continue to hold it. (11/15/17) Discovered the car needed a sub-frame / differential mount weld.
